About This Role The Travel Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Northwell Health is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of treatment plans. Highlights Pay: $3,246/week Location: Danbury, CT Facility: Northwell Health Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Assess the patient’s physiologic health status. Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures. Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition. Assess level of pain and pain management. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care. Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations. Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes. Identify patient’s need for teaching based on psychosocial assessment. Implement the plan of care and maintain constant vigilance over patient care. Administer medications correctly and safely. Requirements Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty. Licenses & Certifications Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required.
