Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative - $20-$25/hr

Location: Clackamas County, OR
Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

A global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of conveyor chains, sprockets, and engineered plastic products is seeking an energetic and service-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join their team. Job Description

The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, handling incoming orders, quote requests, questions, and general customer needs by phone and email. This position works closely with manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and the outside sales team to ensure customers receive accurate information and excellent service.

While this position includes some inside sales and cross-selling responsibilities, the primary focus is customer service, order processing, quoting, and customer support .

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and quote requests by phone and email.
• Serve as a front-line point of contact for customers.
• Source products and obtain pricing from suppliers.
• Prepare and provide accurate customer quotes.
• Follow up with customers on previously submitted quotes.
• Work closely with manufacturing facilities and the outside sales team.
• Resolve customer questions, order issues, and concerns professionally.
• Provide product information and assist customers in finding appropriate solutions.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and quote information.
• Provide professional and friendly service to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assist with front desk and general office responsibilities as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous customer service, inside sales, order processing, or office experience preferred.
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, or a related environment is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and friendly phone presence.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to good attendance.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Energetic, upbeat, and motivated to learn.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Interested in growing with a long-term, established company.

Work Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: Off
