Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care at a Level 4 Trauma Center in a rural setting, managing acute patient needs in a busy 8-bed emergency department. Ensure timely assessment, intervention, and support for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and prioritize incoming patients to determine severity and urgency of care.
  
  
• 
  Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions in accordance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and respond effectively to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with certification requirements and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current RN license with relevant state licensure.
  
  
• 
  Valid TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in emergency or trauma nursing preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to make rapid decisions in high-pressure situations.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
