This role involves providing obstetric and emergency obstetric care, performing deliveries, inpatient rounding, managing transports, and potentially midwife coverage in a high-volume environment. Shifts are available in 12- and 24-hour formats, with night coverage involving two OB hospitalists. The position starts in October with a flexible schedule of approximately 6–7 shifts per month and no clinic responsibilities.
