Overview

A hospital-based opportunity seeking an experienced Locum OBGYN to provide 24-hour in-house coverage on the Labor & Delivery floor. The role focuses on inpatient OB/GYN care, including deliveries and emergency gynecologic cases.
Practice Highlights

• Inpatient Labor & Delivery coverage only
• 24-hour in-house call required
• Services include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and circumcisions
• 10-15 OB triages daily plus deliveries
• All OB triages are seen by the on-call physician
• EMR: Cerner
• Onsite lab and pharmacy
Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in OBGYN - Required
• Active Illinois license OR Active IMLC LOQ - Required
• Experienced providers only
• Clean malpractice history and background - Required
• Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last 30 days) - Required at submission
Schedule & Coverage

• 6-8 shifts per month
• 24-hour in-house shifts
• Procedure / OR coverage as needed
• Inpatient responsibilities on the Labor & Delivery floor
