Work Environment\n

The role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible working environment while still maintaining access to a collaborative team setting within our community health clinic. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique needs, and develop individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that facilitate understanding and build community among patients dealing with similar mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and act as a resource during emergencies, leveraging clinical skills to stabilize and support patients in distress.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
