Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with children and adolescents within the school system who may experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your empathy, guidance, and professional expertise will help students not only to overcome obstacles but also to develop skills for coping with future challenges, thus improving their educational and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the mental health field is required, candidates with background in school-based counseling or experience working with children and adolescents will be given preference.
