This full-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a significant impact on the lives of individuals in the school environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and nature of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring thorough understanding of their mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and unique circumstances, enhancing their treatment journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive clinical outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care practices, empowering them with knowledge and support.

• Monitor clients' progress diligently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in the field of mood disorders, incorporating new insights into treatment practices.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to destigmatize mood disorders and promote mental wellness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will be on clients within the school setting, addressing youth and adolescent mental health issues, particularly mood disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, contributing to a culture of inclusivity and respect for different experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience, particularly in working with mood disorders.
\n
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based treatment frameworks, ideally with direct experience using CBT and DBT.

• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and families from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• A demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple clients and their treatment plans effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of specialized experience in treating mood disorders post-licensure is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the collaborative dynamics of working alongside psychiatrists and medical professionals to optimize client care.

• A proven track record of achieving favorable therapy outcomes with clients struggling with mood-related challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 per year.
