Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health status of patients, accurately diagnosing conditions as necessary using resources such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

• Create personalized treatment plans that take into account cultural diversity and the unique needs of each child or adolescent, continually revisiting these plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices in clinical record-keeping.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and mental health professionals, to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies that address individual patient needs.

• Provide ongoing education about mental health to students, families, and school staff, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to support student wellbeing.

• Coordinate referrals and serve as a liaison between patients and various treatment providers, ensuring seamless access to additional resources as needed.

• Contribute to the professional development of peers through mentoring, coaching, and offering constructive feedback to enhance team quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents within an academic setting, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral concerns and trauma-related conditions. A strong focus on cultural competence ensures that each child receives tailored support that respects and reflects their background and unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time Social Worker position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
