Project Manager

Project Manager Location : Washington DC We are partnering with a general contractor to hire a Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects - managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication while helping drive successful, safe, and high-quality delivery. Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Support and enforce safety and quality standards; participate in site visits and inspections Coordinate daily project execution, assist in resolving field issues, and ensure alignment with plans, specifications, and client expectations Assist with estimates, takeoffs, proposals, and subcontractor bids; support buyout and contract administration Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, vendor invoices, and owner billing Help secure permits and ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and contract requirements Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and closeout materials Collaborate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure smooth project execution Participate in OAC, subcontractor, and internal meetings to track progress and maintain alignment Build and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience 4–8+ years of experience in construction project management Experience supporting or managing projects from preconstruction through completion Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficient with construction software (Procore, Microsoft Office, etc.) Why Join Opportunity to grow with a reputable general contractor Collaborative team environment focused on quality and long-term relationships Competitive compensation, benefits, and career development opportunities Compensation Competitive salary + vehicle allowance or company vehicle + gas card + performance-based bonus + full benefits (ESOP, 401K, PTO) + additional perks (continued education, gym, referral programs, and more) #J-18808-Ljbffr
