Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to meaningful patient care. Although the majority of the work is conducted from home, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our team of dedicated professionals. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and document care plans accurately.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address mental health challenges during virtual sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to help clients and their families understand mental health issues and foster community support.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other specialists to enhance treatment efficacy and ensure holistic patient support.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services and develop crisis management plans for clients in acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and connect them with community resources to support their recovery journeys.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards in all documentation and interactions.

• Participate actively in regular team meetings and case consultations to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Harmonius Mental Health Services, you will work closely with a varied client base that includes adults facing depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their treatment and achieve positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to practice as a mental health therapist in Illinois.
\n
• Solid grasp of various mental health conditions and familiarity with contemporary treatment techniques.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with diverse patient populations.

• Proficient with telehealth technologies and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably within an outpatient practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
