Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CVOR Surgical Technologist with extensive experience in the perioperative environment. The ideal candidate must possess certification and have significant CVOR experience, including at least two travel assignments. Responsibilities include assisting in various cardiothoracic surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacement, and TAVR.
• Collaborate with a team of surgical professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to hospital guidelines and protocols.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the Cerner system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Extensive CVOR experience is mandatory.
• First Assist experience is preferred but not required.
