Job Description
The Surgical Technologist will play a crucial role in the Operating Room, providing essential support during surgical procedures. They will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the operating room environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by handing them instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
- Monitor and track inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation and transport of patients to and from the operating room.
Required Experience
Broad surgical knowledge and experience in service lines, including but not limited to general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
Certifications/Licensure
NBSTSA certification is preferred.
