Job Description
The Operating Room team at Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with broad surgical knowledge to assist in various surgical procedures. This role will provide support within multiple service lines, including but not limited to general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and operating room personnel with surgical instruments and supplies.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients in the operating room.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment needed during surgeries.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Required Experience
Candidates must possess broad surgical knowledge and experience working within the operating room environment across multiple surgical specialties.
Certifications/Licensure
No specific certifications are required for this position, though certifications related to surgical technology may enhance a candidate's profile.
