Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy in individual and group settings.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to relevant legal and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of client care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and staying abreast of the latest mental health research to enhance clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families grappling with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions to clients who often have limited access to quality care. In this role, you will help clients navigate their challenges and work toward achieving their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• Active and unrestricted Licensure in Professional Counseling (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practice.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the mental health profession.

Compensation and Benefits\n
