Core responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods; organize and store materials in designated locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment with zero-defect accuracy.
• Package items to prevent damage; ensure contents and documentation are correct.
• Generate labels; label boxes and complete all shipping documents accurately.
• Schedule shipments and coordinate carrier pickups to meet deadlines.
• Load and unload shipments with a strong focus on safety.
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment as needed.
• Operate forklifts/industrial trucks; current certification required.
• Confirm quantities, SKUs, and shipping details against orders and system data.
• Maintain precise shipping logs and support accurate inventory records.
• Keep warehouse and shipping zones clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Adhere to company safety policies and shipping procedures at all times.
• Communicate proactively with production, purchasing, and management about shipping priorities and constraints.
• Identify and report damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.
• Support additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred.
• Physically able to lift, carry, and move materials; stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation and counts.
• Dependable and punctual; able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communicator; collaborates well and works independently when needed.
• Basic PC skills preferred (e.g., lookup, data entry, label printing).
• Safety-focused and able to maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated proficiency in shipping/receiving processes and strong communication skills.
• Forklift/industrial truck certification (required).
