Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our robust imaging team, delivering outstanding patient care in an encouraging environment. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform vital diagnostic procedures, work in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, and play a significant role in providing reassurance to patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining procedures to ensure understanding
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to provide exemplary diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information within electronic records systems
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and adhere to best practice guidelines

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent accrediting body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
