Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required
License: Must have applicable nursing license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Must-Have: Must pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with required scores


Description:
PACU/ICU RN position available.
ICU experience is required.
Candidates must pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least an 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms.
Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate.
Rotation consists of 4x10 evening/night shifts.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Pediatric PACU and Phase I, Phase II recovery experiences are required.
Candidates must have experience with Pre-Post procedures.
Experience with CERNER charting system is required.
First-time travelers will be considered.
Call is required, possibly 5-6 times per six-week period.
Candidates will be required to float to cover ICU.
Weekend shifts are required, two weekends per six weeks.
Scrubs will be provided.
Patient ratios are 2:1 on days and nights.
The patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 45 patients.
Candidates must have experience managing various medical protocols and procedures.
Strong assessments, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
References from two supervisors are required.
Candidates must complete compliance requirements in a timely manner.
