Litigation Associate OpportunityDirect Counsel is seeking a litigation associate to join a highly regarded national law firm in its Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level associate to work within a dynamic business and commercial litigation group. The ideal candidate will have between 2–6 years of litigation experience and be eager to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative team handling a broad range of high-stakes matters.Key ResponsibilitiesManage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including legal research, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparationDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and client correspondencePrepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and court appearancesParticipate in client meetings and communicate updates and strategy clearly and professionallyCollaborate with colleagues, support staff, and outside experts to execute litigation strategyReview and organize evidence, case files, and exhibitsStay current on relevant changes in law and precedentEngage in pro bono matters to promote access to justiceIdeal Candidate QualificationsJD from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in Florida2–6 years of litigation experience at a reputable law firmFederal or state court clerkship is a strong plusExcellent academic credentials, legal research, analytical, and writing skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environmentStrong interpersonal, communication, and professional judgmentCollaborative team player with initiative and leadership capabilityCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $235,000 – $330,000, depending on class year and experienceCompetitive bonus structureComprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time offHybrid work schedule with regular in-office presence required
