About the Role
The Company is seeking an AVP for Security Risk Management to play a pivotal role in the evolution and execution of its cybersecurity and technology risk management program. The successful candidate will be responsible for reducing enterprise cybersecurity and technology risk by leading the identification, measurement, and treatment of material cyber and technology risks across various business and technology domains. This includes defining and implementing risk strategies, governance, and assessment methods, as well as leading the end-to-end lifecycle of third-party cybersecurity risk assessments. The role also involves integrating internal and external risk signals, leading M&A security activities, and partnering with various stakeholders to embed cybersecurity and technology control requirements into the company's operations. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in information security, cybersecurity risk management, technology risk, or IT audit, with a strong focus on third-party cyber risk management. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in designing and maturing cybersecurity and technology risk management programs, as well as experience in supporting M&A activities from a cybersecurity risk perspective. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, relevant industry certifications, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity and privacy frameworks and regulations, particularly those relevant to healthcare and insurance. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive risk-informed cybersecurity decisions.
