About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Cybersecurity Operations to take on a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and overseeing the enterprise cybersecurity strategy. This executive-level leader will be a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic direction across various cybersecurity domains, including operations, cloud security, governance, risk and compliance, incident response, security architecture, and awareness programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of critical systems, digital assets, and sensitive information in alignment with regulatory and organizational security requirements. Applicants for the VP of Cybersecurity Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 15 years' experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, and IT. A strong background in cybersecurity frameworks, as well as experience with regulatory and compliance standards, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in developing and executing enterprise security programs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex security initiatives. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other relevant cybersecurity leadership certifications. The VP will also be responsible for fostering relationships with various stakeholders and leading and mentoring senior cybersecurity teams.
