Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Arlington , Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 16-bed CVICU. Two weekend shifts required biweekly. Day and night shift positions available. No on-call required.

Highlights:

• Provide critical care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with advanced cardiac procedures
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
• Collaborate within an all-RN team with Charge Nurse support on every shift
• EMR: Meditech
• Manage complex cardiac recovery patients including CABG, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac support technologies
• Opportunity to float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac PCU based on facility needs

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience in adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or other critical care specialty
• Ventilator management experience required
• Proficiency with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube management
• CVICU-specific experience strongly preferred, including CABG recovery
• CRRT and Impella experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
