Job Summary:
Geriatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in Long Term Care in Hilo, Hawaii. This position involves performing assessments, treatments, medication administration, notifying physicians or nurse practitioners of pertinent information, admitting and discharging residents, and providing various clinical care tasks such as gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vacuum care, CPAP care, and tracheostomy care. Candidates are required to bring their Hawaii license on their first day of employment.

• Unit type: Long Term Care facility within a hospital setting
• License: Hawaii License required before start of assignment
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with shifts and hours. Candidates must arrive the Thursday prior to the start date to attend an employee health appointment on the Friday. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
