Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, dependable, and proactive full-time Litigation Paralegal to manage personal injury cases as they transition into the lawsuit and trial phases. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives when given autonomy and is capable of working independently without constant supervision. You will be a primary point of contact for clients, court staff, and opposing counsel, meaning professionalism, patience, and a service-oriented mindset are essential to your success here.

Key Responsibilities

• Litigation Case Management: Oversee personal injury lawsuits from filing through trial preparation, ensuring all statutory deadlines and court dates are meticulously tracked.

• Pleadings & Discovery: Draft, format, and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, propounded discovery, and discovery responses.

• Filing & Court Procedures: Manage state and federal court filings (e-filing), coordinate service of process, and handle small claims processing and court presence preparation.

• Trial Preparation: Organize trial binders, prepare exhibit lists, coordinate witness schedules, and assist attorneys with comprehensive pre-trial logistics.

• Client & Third-Party Liaison: Communicate compassionately with clients to provide case updates and gather information. Interfere and negotiate with insurance companies, medical providers, and defense counsel.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of dedicated personal injury litigation experience is strictly required.

• Independence: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize a heavy litigation calendar, and work independently.

• Tech Stack: * Proficiency in  Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Hands-on experience with  Clio case management software.

  • Experience with  InfoTrack (e-filing/service of process) is a strong plus.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Languages: Bilingual fluency in  English and Korean is highly preferred, though not required.

• Core Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, dependable, proactive, and deeply empathetic.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour (commensurate with level of experience)
