Are you passionate about coffee and creating a welcoming atmosphere? At our cafe, nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, NY, we’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. If you have a knack for crafting the perfect cup and enjoy connecting with people, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Be Doing As a Barista , your role will be essential in delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso drinks with precision and care.
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service to create a warm, inviting environment.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately at the register.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and seating areas.
- Assisting with stocking and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a genuine love for coffee and community.
