Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Champions Recovery, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough assessments for clients to better understand their needs and challenges. Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's specific situation. Providing effective one-on-one and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and relational therapy. Delivering specialized support to clients who are experiencing PTSD and other stress-related conditions. Coordinating case management services, establishing referrals when necessary, to enhance overall client support and resources. Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records that comply with ICD-9 standards and other regulatory requirements. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being. Providing counseling services for children and families, fostering healthy dynamics and relationship building. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population consists of diverse individuals and families across California dealing with behavioral issues, trauma, and emotional struggles. Your role will be fundamental in guiding clients through personal challenges, strengthening their mental health, and facilitating positive changes within their lives. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution. A valid and current LMFT license in California. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in therapy and case management, working with diverse patient populations. Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development. Strong communication skills that support effective client engagement and rapport building. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with experience in specific therapeutic techniques, such as Trauma-Focused CBT, or those who have previously worked in community health settings may be given preference. Familiarity with digital mental health and tele-therapy platforms is also an asset. Compensation and Benefits This full-time LMFT position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
