Screw Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision components, is seeking a Screw Machine Operator to join their team. As a Screw Machine Operator, you will be part of the Screw Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Screw Machine Operator

Location: Hamilton, OH

Pay Range: $21/hr

Shift: 1st shift hours: 5:45am - 3:45pm (MON-THUR / overtime possible on Fridays)

What's the Job?

• Perform machine setup and operation of Acme and Davenport screw machines

• Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines to ensure smooth operation

• Adjust tooling, sharpen tools, and perform tool changes to meet quality specifications

• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production

• Assist colleagues with troubleshooting, maintenance, and training activities

What's Needed?

• Relevant work experience in machine operation, maintenance, or related trades

• Ability to perform standard math calculations for machine adjustments

• Mechanical aptitude with tools and machinery

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability

• Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn and grow
