Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

The Production Associate fills, seals, labels, and packages chemical products in accordance with established process requirements. This role supports general production activities, helps maintain an organized work area, and provides backup coverage for documentation and supervisory functions when needed.

• Fill, seal, and label all chemical products according to documented process requirements and quality standards.
• Produce packaged products in accordance with established procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Perform general production tasks as assigned to support overall manufacturing operations.
• Serve as a backup for the documentation clerk by completing required production records and paperwork in their absence.
• Serve as a backup for the supervisor when needed, helping to maintain workflow and adherence to process requirements.
• Organize and maintain the work area so that all required supplies, tools, and materials are readily available and in proper order.
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Use standard hand tools safely and correctly during production activities.
• Handle and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a daily basis while following safe lifting practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a cooperative, productive work environment.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks and meet production schedules.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow all safety and operational guidelines within the production area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out detailed written instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed verbal instructions.
• Ability to use standard hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to move and handle packages of up to 50 lbs on a daily basis.
• Good interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with team members.
• Strong communication skills to share information clearly and accurately.
• Effective time management skills to complete tasks within required timelines.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly work area and manage multiple tasks.

• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or packaging environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with working around chemical products is an advantage.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
• Reliability and consistency in following established processes and procedures.

This is a full-time, on-site production role in a chemical manufacturing environment. The standard schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You work in a production area that involves handling and packaging chemical products, using standard hand tools, and moving packages up to 50 lbs. The work requires standing, moving, and organizing materials throughout the day. You are expected to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate attire and protective equipment as required for a production and chemical-handling environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Metuchen, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Metuchen,NJ.
