Key Responsibilities Conduct physical examinations, compile medical histories, and develop treatment plans for new and established patients. Order and interpret diagnostic studies to ensure accurate and timely care. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery paths. Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care in coordination with supervising physicians. Participate in surgical procedures and deliver intraoperative care in the OR as needed. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with practice guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Perform procedures and assessments with precision and professionalism, ensuring continuity of care. What You Bring to the Team Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Board‑certified Virginia State License. BLS certification and commitment to maintaining CEUs in clinical practice. Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or related fields (highly desired). New graduates with a passion for orthopedics are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, customer service, and decision‑making skills. Ability to work independently, respond effectively in emergency situations, and maintain professionalism at all times. Other Details Must communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences. Must be able to lift 30 lbs without assistance. Employment contingent on successful completion of background, drug, and TB screening.
