Billing Specialist (256424) Buckingham, Texas Salary: USD23 - USD26 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and submitting insurance claims, ensuring billing accuracy, resolving claim issues, and supporting clients throughout the billing process. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare or dental billing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner. Partner with healthcare practices across the U.S. to access systems and retrieve claims for processing. Review coding, patient demographics, and claim information prior to submission. Collect and verify referrals and prior authorizations. Enter and maintain accurate billing and claim information. Prepare invoices, billing documentation, and statements for services rendered. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, claim rejections, and insurance issues. Submit electronic claims and include supporting narratives when required. Monitor claim status and follow up on rejected or unpaid claims. Respond to client questions regarding billing and claims. Collaborate with internal teams and insurance carriers to resolve billing concerns. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. Meet established productivity and quality standards. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare, medical, or dental billing experience . Experience submitting and managing insurance claims. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare billing best practices. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. Experience working with healthcare billing software. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and client information. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Denticon .
