Accounting Clerk

Location: Wausau, WI Salary: Starting at $50,000/year Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Join a Growing, Team-Focused Company! ABR Employment Services is recruiting for an Accounting Clerk on behalf of a well-established and successful company in Wausau. This position offers a variety of accounting responsibilities and the opportunity to grow your skills while supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities Process and enter Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently. Generate and post Accounts Receivable transactions. Assist with payroll processing using Foundation Software . Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Reconcile accounts and assist with resolving discrepancies. Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial processing. Perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk experience preferred. Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Payroll experience is a plus; Foundation Software experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with a positive, dependable attitude.
