Location: Wausau, WI Salary: Starting at $50,000/year Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

ABR Employment Services is recruiting for an Accounting Clerk on behalf of a well-established and successful company in Wausau. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where your contributions are valued.

This position offers a variety of accounting responsibilities and the opportunity to grow your skills while supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities
  • Process and enter Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Generate and post Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Assist with payroll processing using Foundation Software .
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with resolving discrepancies.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.
  • Perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting clerk experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Payroll experience is a plus; Foundation Software experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, dependable attitude.
