Accounting Assistant
The Accounting Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This position ensures accurate financial transactions, effective inventory management, timely invoicing, and a well-organized office environment while providing responsive support to both internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and maintain inventory procurement, receiving, and tracking to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Purchase office supplies, inventory, and stock to maintain a productive workplace.
- Assist with office organization and light facility upkeep.
- Support day-to-day administrative functions that contribute to overall business operations.
- Assist with client-facing accounting inquiries and discussions, delivering a high level of service and professionalism.
- Provide administrative and accounting support to dispatch and operations personnel as needed.
- Collaborate across departments to help ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Support compliance with company policies by ensuring accounting and office procedures remain current, documented, and accessible.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives that support company goals and operational excellence.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
2 years Bookkeeping or Accounting Experience Associates Degrees Microsoft Suite Quickbooks experience a plus
