Technical Accounting Manager (PR/606677) Miami, Florida Technical Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities: Lead technical accounting efforts supporting business operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Research and analyze complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, GASB, and other relevant accounting frameworks. Monitor and implement new accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical accounting memos documenting accounting conclusions and recommendations. Serve as the primary liaison with external technical accounting advisors and consultants. Oversee fixed asset accounting and related financial reporting processes. Partner with finance, operational leaders, and external auditors to address accounting matters and reporting requirements. Prepare and review technical accounting disclosures within financial statements. Evaluate the accounting implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and strategic transactions. Provide guidance on complex transactions, including M&A activity, joint ventures, restructuring events, and divestitures. Drive enhancements to accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures. Mentor and develop accounting team members. Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives across the organization. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct. Technical Accounting Manager Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred. CPA or equivalent professional certification required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience, ideally with a Big Four or large national accounting firm, strongly preferred. Strong understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Experience: Strong knowledge of ASC 805 (Business Combinations) and ASC 810 (Consolidations). Experience supporting large, multi-entity or multinational organizations.
