Our client, a leader in healthcare, is seeking a contract Human Resources Consultant. This is a hybrid role in Pasadena, CA - with 3 days work onsite in Pasadena.
Human Resources Consultant/Business Partner
Position Overview:
Join our team and make an impact by leading and supporting the implementation of company-wide HR programs and initiatives, including salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change. You will work closely with management in delivering corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development, and consult with employees and managers to resolve HR issues. This role supports aligning HR initiatives and practices with strategic business objectives.
- Must have experience working with labor unions, and collective bargaining.
- 3+ years of experience working with labor unions, investigations background, and experience with California labor laws
Contract duration: 3 months (with projected extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong employee relations expertise, including direct experience working with labor unions and participating in collective bargaining processes.
- Lead the development and/or implementation of the client HR roadmap and initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Contribute to, and execute, IT HR Strategic Roadmap plans within established timelines and budgets.
- Coach management and staff, guiding both tactical and long-term development to grow leadership, managerial, and team capabilities.
- Conduct thorough investigations with urgency; complete exemplary documentation.
- Identify, coordinate, and deliver timely training solutions and services to enable and foster positive cultural change.
- Advise clients on organizational and individual staff decisions ranging from employee relations, retention, compensation, staffing, terminations, organizational design, development planning, organizational changes, and other business needs.
- Interpret and uphold HR policies and practices; advocate changes as appropriate.
- Lead, plan, and participate in complex team objectives supporting clients, IT, and/or broader organizational groups.
