Temporary Grants Analyst – Grant Operations Department (TCE) Posted on June 18, 2018 This is a full-time, benefitted position for a project expected to conclude on or about March 2020. This is a project specific, at-will position. If hired, applicant is expected to remain in this specific role and will not be eligible to apply for other internal job openings until the completion of the original assignment. The Grants Analyst will assist program team(s) with online grant process from award through grant or contract closure, including preparing award agreements and contracts, reviewing project reports and tracking deliverables, releasing payments, and closing grants or contracts. Works in cooperation with accounting, communications, policy/evaluation, program managers, and support staff to ensure that grants and contract awards comply with internal policies and IRS regulations, and that funded projects comply with award agreements. Position Responsibilities: Grantmaking/Administrative Support Management of e-grant/contract files as well as quality control and accountability for grantmaking documentation Process approved scheduled payments Initial review of grant reports Provide technical assistance to applicants and grantees during all phases of the grantmaking process, including preparing online applications, submitting reports, requesting changes to agreements, and providing payment information Help implement the electronic grants system for grantmaking Respond to telephone, mail, internet and e‑mail requests with a customer‑service orientation Participates in position appropriate meetings and learning opportunities Provides back‑up support to colleagues as appropriate. Project Support Provides administrative support and coordination of specific tasks as assigned by the supervisor for ongoing or time-limited projects. A clear communicator; flexible; proactive planning, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills; proven ability to problem‑solve and follow up appropriately on process and procedural issues Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Two to five years’ support experience, preferably in grant making, nonprofit or related institution.
