JOB REQUIREMENTS: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Food Manufacturing | Full-Time | Waukesha & Cudahy, WI $2,500 Sign-On Bonus | Competitive Pay Based on Experience | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Legacy Snack Solutions is an SQF-certified food manufacturer with facilities in Waukesha and Cudahy, WI seeking full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanics at both locations. Multiple openings available on all three shifts. Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot boiler systems Service and maintain HVAC systems Maintain gas systems and burner equipment Calibrate and maintain metal detection equipment Troubleshoot and repair packaging line and food manufacturing equipment Perform electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance Execute PM schedules and complete work orders Maintain building and facility systems Perform food-grade welding and fabrication as needed Support some PLC troubleshooting Maintain GMP, SQF, and safety compliance Maintain accurate maintenance records Shifts Available: 1st Shift 2nd Shift 3rd Shift Requirements: 3+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or industrial production Experience with boiler systems, HVAC, gas systems, and/or burner equipment preferred Strong mechanical and electrical background Packaging line maintenance experience Safety-first mindset committed to safe work practices Knowledge of GMP and SQF standards Metal detector experience a plus Some PLC experience helpful Food-grade welding experience a plus CMMS experience helpful Benefits: $2,500 Sign-On Bonus Competitive pay based on experience Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability Paid Time Off Advancement opportunities we promote from within To apply: View email address on click.appcast.io Legacy Snack Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Maintain or repair specialized equipment or machinery located in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of residential or commercial buildings. Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools. Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties. Train or manage maintenance personnel or subcontractors. Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other pa ts of building structures. Perform routine maintenance on boilers, such as replacing burners or hoses, installing replacement parts, or reinforcing structural weaknesses to ensure optimal boiler efficiency. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
