Business Development Executive, Flexible Packaging

Role Overview Location: US Remote (EST or CST region). Target Markets: Dallas‑FortWorth, TX | Atlanta, GA | Charlotte, Raleigh, NC | Ohio Major Metros. We are hiring a Business Development Manager to lead expansion into one of these key corridors. The role operates as owner of your territory with cross‑department support and a company‑wide commitment to customer excellence. You will plan, prospect, qualify, and close new business with direct end users, regional co‑packers, high‑growth and established CPG brands, food, pharma, pet food manufacturers, and towel and tissue producers. You will build and manage a balanced pipeline across immediate, medium, and enterprise levels. Responsibilities Plan and execute prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. Collaborate with R&D, operations, and customer service to deliver on commitments. Drive deals to decision and walk away from opportunities that are not a good fit. Maintain accurate expectations and uphold a strong moral compass. Qualifications 5+ years in packaging sales, preferably flexible films and selling direct to end users. Functional understanding of film structures (PE, PET, OPP, basic barrier properties) and printing. Proven track record building a territory into a multi‑million dollar book of business. Disciplined strategic hunter mentality: self‑directed, strategic, high‑volume outbound prospecting, and relationship building. Ability to manage long validation cycles and see complex deals through. Team player who collaborates effectively across departments.
