School Speech Therapist | Gilroy, California

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role focuses on delivering in-person speech and language services at a single elementary school, working primarily with students in TK through 2nd grade. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help Speech-Only, RSP, and SDC students reach their full potential in communication and academic achievement.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license and PPS credential (or eligibility)
• Experience supporting early elementary students (TK-2nd grade) in a school setting
• Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and delivering both individual and group therapy
• Ability to serve a diverse caseload including Speech-Only, RSP, and SDC students
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide speech and language assessments, individual and group therapy, and intervention services for TK-2nd students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with special education teams
• Maintain thorough records and meet compliance requirements
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions
