Pediatric Speech Therapist in Gilroy, CA

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapy and intervention to school-aged children from June 16 through July 10. This contract position offers a balanced daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 1pm-ideal for professionals who value impactful work and a flexible summer routine.


Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in children

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students ages preschool through high school as outlined in IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to the multidisciplinary team
• Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet a diverse range of student needs
• Provide support and education to students, families, and staff regarding speech/language development and strategies
