Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate patient care during the birthing process. This role involves supporting mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient assessments and monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with clinical procedures such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and supporting labor progression.
• Educate and support patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn health.
• Complete documentation accurately in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery, with postpartum care experience preferred.
• Must have current NRP, BLS, and EFM certifications; ACLS and STABLE are preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Maintain compliance with Tier1 travel regulations and hospital policies.
• Be capable of floating within hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed.
