Pre-Litigation Paralegal

Our client is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to support the handling and evaluation of complex claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with complex injuries, high-value claims, and medical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support claims throughout the pre-litigation process.
• Review and organize medical records, reports, bills, and other relevant documentation.
• Work with cases involving complex orthopedic injuries, concussions, and closed head injuries.
• Analyze medical information and develop a clear understanding of the nature and extent of injuries.
• Assist with evaluating and preparing claims for negotiation.
• Support the handling and negotiation of six-figure claims.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and other relevant parties.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure necessary documentation is obtained and up to date.
• Assist with preparing settlement materials and other pre-litigation documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Strong pre-litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience working with complex orthopedic injuries, concussions, and closed head injuries.
• Experience with high-value claims, including six-figure negotiations.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatment, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters with a high level of attention to detail.
