Banquet Manager

Banquet Manager Position We are inviting you to apply for the Banquet Manager position. In this position, you will be responsible for the smooth and successful operation, setup and completion of all scheduled functions and proper upkeep of convention, meeting, and banquet facilities and equipment in an efficient and timely manner. Requirements & Qualifications We require that you have at least 2 years of banquet and/or setup experience in a supervisor capacity. A bonus is experience at a facility that hosts multiple functions in the same day. Bilingual skills are preferred, although not required. The position reports directly to the Banquets Director. Prior experience as a server, captain, and set‑up houseperson is required. Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort would be helpful. General knowledge of the practices and procedures of a convention center, hotel conference services and/or banquet department. Ability to utilize diverse types of cleaning and setup equipment. Must be detail oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience working in a resort/hotel/conference center with at least 70k square feet of meeting and event space. Indoor/outdoor experience is desired, but not required.
