Billing and Collections Specialist

Billing & Collections Specialist - Cheshire, CT Our client, a healthcare services organization, is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to support billing operations, payment processing, and account follow-up activities. This role will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and efficient account management. Responsibilities Process billing and invoicing activities for various payer types. Manage collections efforts and follow up on outstanding balances. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues. Maintain accurate account records and documentation. Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding account activity. Support reporting, reconciliation, and administrative tasks. Utilize multiple systems to track and manage billing workflows. Qualifications 3+ years of billing and collections experience. Healthcare, home care, or related billing experience required. Experience with QuickBooks required.
