Make a real difference supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a contract role serving 2nd-5th grade learners near Cascade, CO. This position offers the opportunity to provide tailored instruction, services, and support to students in a small-group setting, fostering growth and achievement.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in special education or a related field
- Hold a valid CDE license with mild to moderate endorsement
- Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
- Ability to create engaging, individualized lesson plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality instruction and specialized academic support to students in small groups
- Develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on each child’s needs
- Employ effective teaching methods to support diverse learning styles
- Maintain ongoing communication with families and other educational professionals
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes using data-driven approaches
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Position Details:
- Contract role: 8/3/26–5/28/27
- Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serves 2nd-5th grade students in a collaborative, resource-rich setting
