Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk – Home Construction (Houston, TX) We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing home construction team. This role handles daily AP tasks, including processing and coding vendor/subcontractor invoices, managing payments, tracking lien waivers, reconciling statements, and supporting month-end close. You’ll work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate job costing for labor, materials, and permits. What You’ll Do: Process, code, and enter vendor/subcontractor invoices Prepare and schedule payments (checks, ACH) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Track and verify lien waivers Maintain AP files and support audits Assist with month-end closing and reporting Use Excel and accounting software (BuildPro) for daily tasks What We’re Looking For: 3–5 years of AP experience, ideally in construction or homebuilding High School Diploma or GED required; college degree a plus Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving Knowledge of full-cycle AP and construction-related billing Location & Compensation: Houston, TX (Galleria area) | $55,000–$60,000 | Fully on-site #J-18808-Ljbffr The Reserves Network
