Accounting Specialist – QuickBooks

Location: Midwest City, OK 73140

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $50,000–$65,000 per year, DOE

Schedule: Flexible Hours | Remote Options Available

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with strong QuickBooks experience to join our client's team in Midwest City. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with flexible scheduling, and the client is open to remote work for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accurate financial records and day-to-day accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities using QuickBooks
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close
• Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis
• Monitor and maintain accurate customer and vendor accounts
• Assist with payroll and other accounting-related functions as needed
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong QuickBooks experience required
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Reliable internet connection for remote work
