FSSA is a health care and social services funding agency. Ninety-four percent of the agency’s total budget is paid to thousands of service providers ranging from major medical centers to a physical therapist working with a child or adult with a developmental disability. The seven care divisions in FSSA administer services to more than 1.5 million Hoosiers. FSSA’s mission is to compassionately serve Hoosiers of all ages and connect them with social services, health care and their communities. Role Overview: The Financial Analyst completes financial reporting for Federal funding, monitors contracts and the review/approval of monthly claims in PeopleSoft Financials and Euna, and assists with the development of the Request for Contract Preparation forms, budget exhibits, and Scope of Work. You will submit funding source requests in Euna and will establish projects, activities, and combo edits for PeopleSoft Financials.

In this role, you must also demonstrate competency in serving internal and external customers, delivering high quality work, demonstrating initiative, displaying confidence and composure, and working with financial information. Salary:The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows: Certify the accurate reporting of agency financial data with respect to area of assignment.Assist controller in developing annual and biennium budget(s).Responsible for the monitoring of expenditures are met in accordance with grant provisions.Assist controller in monitoring expenditures on an ongoing basis to ensure budget compliance.Review contracts to verify funding source and adherence to annual budget.Assist in preparation of financial data for monthly and quarterly financial reviews.Work with contract compliance officer on all financial related matters.Assist in the development of performance measures for contracts and programs.Assist controller in developing and / or revising funding models for current or future agency programs.Analyze and research issues of interest for other program areas within the agency, identifying patterns and trends.The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
