Job Description
- Provide legal counsel on matters related to investment management and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, disclosures, and other legal documents.
- Advise on SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory requirements impacting the investment management industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support business development by identifying and mitigating legal risks in new initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the professional services industry.
- Assist in managing disputes and litigation related to investment management operations.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance and legal best practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A law degree and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations related to investment management.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for legal documents.
- Ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in the professional services industry or a similar setting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
