Senior Cost Accountant

In this role, you'll analyze and control manufacturing and operational costs, ensure accurate inventory valuation, and partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability. Role Responsibilities Prepare monthly cost accounting reports and analyze product profitability, margins, and cost drivers. Monitor cost variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation, and lead physical inventory and cycle counts. Prepare journal entries and reconcile inventory and cost-related GL accounts during month-end close. Support budgets and forecasts, and analyze actual results against expectations. Strengthen internal controls and partner cross-functionally to improve cost visibility. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. 2–3 years of manufacturing cost accounting is required. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ERP experience are preferred; Microsoft Dynamics is a major plus. Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Process improvement or automation experience is a major plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
